Much of our business depends of the ability to represent properties with the use of maps. We use maps to identify acreage, property owners, soil classifications, water districts, topography, flood zones, zoning ordinances, municipal boundaries, etc. Statistical analyses as well projective speculation can sometimes be computed depending on available data. Satellite imagery as well as aerial photography are also helpful tools we use to display the properties we are selling. Kevin's familiarity with maps is extensive. He received a masters degree in Geographic Information Science at Saint Mary's University in Minnesota. This degree provides Kevin with the skills to produce useful maps when needed. The walls in our office building are covered with maps which are used on a daily basis for spatial recognition and perspective. Such maps include: water districts of the San Joaquin Valley, Property Owners, USGS soil surveys, FEMA flood maps, aerial imagery and topography. See the photos below of our office walls.
